So, ok I started 2 new projects. Shame on me! I need more WIPs in my pile, right? One is Mirabilia's "Lady of the Flag" and the other is Twisted Thread's "I Simply Love You". I am working on a current WIP by Country Cottage Needleworks called "Dragonfly".
Here is 'Dragonfly' as it was when I started it in November last year.

And here it is now after spending the week on it. It's coming along nicely now.

Here is the start on 'I Simply Love You'. It's being stitched one over one on 32ct light sand linen using GAST. It's tedious to say the least. I needed a break for my poor eyes and that's why I picked up 'Dragonfly'.

'Lady of the Flag' is tough! A LOT of color changes and I had to start marking where I was stitching on my pattern! Ack! I can't believe I started such a BAP (Big A$$ Project)! I think I need to grid my fabric until I get some substantial stitching on it. I've never done that before. First time for everything, right?

Here's a closer look at my so-called progress. Blah! If any of you have advice on how to stitch this BAP more effectively, PLEASE, by all means share your tips. This is my first huge project so, I'm calling on my stitching friends for their vast knowledge. ;-)

That's all for now! I'm off to actually do some housework instead of spending hours on the computer. ;-) Happy Easter to all my friends!

Hey, everything looks great! With LotF, I did mark up my chart. I know some people grid their fabric & that works for them, but I am too impatient. I would mark my chart as I went and that worked for me. I know that's not much help, sorry!
